Conservation & Restoration
Dundee
After closure as a scape metal deposit and purchase by the Dundee Heritage Trust in 1991, the buildings were subsequently coverted into a heritage centre, taking particular care to restore the clocking-in lodge and office block of 1890. More modern displays consider the rise and fall of Dundee's jute industry and living and working conditions. Machinery was relocated from the Douglas Works to be included in this gallery.
The practice was responsible for assessing and recording the building, preparing feasibility studies for future uses, and preparing and submitting grant applications to the European Union.
